Wakefield Street Panelbeaters has been in business
since October 1992 starting off in a small workshop in the central
Auckland city area with a staff of three panelbeaters and two painters.
After five years of business in these premises they out-grew this
workshop and the owners Robert McBride and Gerry Byrne bought new
premises at 16-18 Aitken Tce, Eden Terrace, which is still where
they are situated today.
This workshop is 13,000 sq ft, containing a panel
and paint shop. The panel shop has five fully qualified panelbeaters
with years of experience in all of the latest tech equipment and
many of the panelbeaters have overseas experience. The paint shop
consists of 6 fully qualified painters with two state of the art
bake ovens to give an excellent paint finish.
The business has a great relationship with some
large corporate clients, which has continued for the past ten years.
All our clients are made welcome and the office
staff are helpful and willing to help with completing claim forms
and dealing with insurance companies. Every vehicle goes through
stringent quality control measures after work has been completed.
Wakefield Street Panelbeaters and Carpainters are
responsible employers who encourage their staff with training. Apprenticeships
are offered to the right people.
